Condolences
Gerald was a true professional who added a human element to his profession. We valued his relationship and advise. Ben Kuzmicz, President, Great Plains Leaseholds Ltd
Is it coincidental that last week I was thinking of Gerry and in today’s paper, I read of his passing. Marg and family, I am deeply saddened by this news. I first got to know Jerry in 1974 when I joined the Rotary club of Regina I met Jerry and immediately recognized this man of quality, intelligence, sense, and a good feeling of himself. I admired Gerry. My admiration for Gerry grew when Gerry became president of the Rotary club, and I was his vice president and followed him into the presidency. If Gerry was the engine of a train, I was a caboose and proud to be so. as I’ve never been a golfer I only knew of his prowess in golfing by the stories he told and how much validity is there in any golfing story. Marg and family you have my deepest condolences in the loss of this great man. I’m proud to say I knew Gerry.
I am sending condolences on behalf of my father Merrill McNichol. Merrill really enjoyed his and Jean's time with Marg and Jerry when they were together at Apache Wells in Arizona. They had many years on the golf course, and celebrating happy hours after golf. Their time together was very special and Jerry will be missed.
I had the good fortune to work for Gerry, twice, in Winnipeg and again in Regina. He was a great mentor, a good friend and an outstanding individual. After retirement we had many happy visits with Gerry and Marg in Mesa and High River. Our sincere condolences to Marg and the rest of the family.
