Nancy was a dear friend for many years. We met in the 1970’s when she came to the Seattle area with her horse Sassy to be a working student for Gary Henley. Nancy ended up moving in with me and my family and literally became one of the family. We shared many good memories over the years. One story she loved laughing and telling was that my dad came down to our basement living area one day to be completely startled to find a girl and her dog (Angie) down there. He politely asked what she was doing, and she informed him that she lived there and who was he? She had been living there for a few weeks (I guess we forgot to tell him, he must have been out of town). Anyway, after his initial shock he welcomed Nancy wholeheartedly as did my mother. In later years Nancy and I could go for months and months without talking and if we got on the phone with each other we would talk for hours. I will miss Nancy and the friendship that we had.
Love you Nanc, rest in peace.

I just saw the very sad news. I too went to St. Augustine and have so many fond memories about the effervescent Nancy. We all go on to live our lives after school , but some people are never forgotten . I last saw Nancy at a funeral and then at our school reunion . She was clear that she was VERY interested in Cliff. She told me she was going to pursue him and obviously he fell for her charms(20 years )❤️I am so very very sorry for your loss Cliff and condolences to everyone who loved her and will miss her dearly.
Our sincere condolences on hearing the news of Nancy’s passing. Nancy has been a great friend over the years, and I will cherish the many memories, from the early days of skiing at Lake Louise to the fun nights on Electric Avenue and the many parties and spirited conversation and laughs we shared over the years. Unfortunately, we will not be able to attend Nancy’s celebration of life, but our thoughts will be with you John, Katie and Cliff and we will raise a glass, or two, in Nancy’s memory.

I knew Nancy for many years. I met Nancy at St. Augustine School. She was my first girlfriend, and I remember vividly standing at the jewelry counter at Woodwards to buy her a friendship ring at the tender age of 12. Although I left Calgary many years ago, I have many fond memories of Nancy including skiing and summers in Kelowna. I send my deepest condolences to Nancy's family and to my dear old friend, Clifford.

I am a cousin of Nancy's as one of the daughters of Margaret Yelle ( born Margaret Finn) sister of Frank Finn. I knew Nancy as a vibrant, outgoing and dare I say "sassy" individual who loved horses and riding. I have not seen her for a number of years due to her serious debilitating illness but I am glad she and Cliff remained together and she had his loving support right to the time of her death. My condolences to all who loved and supported her.

I am so saddened to hear this news! Nancy and I were such great friends years ago when we showed horses and were so young! Many fond memories of horse show days, parties in our late teens and 20's and 30's. My sincere condolences to you Cliff and John! She was so much fun! We had a great time! Much laughter!
