Obituary of Vera Constance Apletree

Vera Apletree, beloved wife of Bertram (Jack) Apletree of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024, at the age of 101 years.

Vera was born in London, England, and moved with her husband to Canada, settling in Calgary, AB, in 1993. She was an active lifelong volunteer with many organizations in England and Canada. Particularly notable were her commitments to the Church of King Charles the Martyr. Tunbridge, Wells, England., St. Peter's Anglican Church, Calgary, and the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra.

She is survived by her daughter Rosemary and her grandson Alex. She was predeceased by her husband Jack, her sister Beryl, her nephew Michael and niece Janet, as well as several beloved cats.

At Vera's request, there will be no funeral service.
