Condolences
So sorry to hear of Robin passing . Though we only got to know Rob as children when he visited our Grandma and Grandpa Owens at Lucky Lake he was always considered family. Always friendly and warm . Rest in peace
We have known Rob (and Marge) for the past 15 years, initially as back alley neighbours, then, becoming good friends . Rick and Rob found much in common, including wood working, birdwatching, their common backgrounds in biology/ and generally nerdy type of stuff . We enjoyed many afternoon and evenings of laughter, serious (and not so serious) political discussions and dinners. Rob introduced us to his cousin Bob from Red Deer and the 3 guys enjoyed many evenings of playing guitar, singing and lots of laughs. Rob's visits to our home, always, included a bottle of my favourite wine and a bouquet of flowers for me. A true kind and generous gentleman, and we will miss him greatly.
Ben, Andrea, Copelan and Tate, we know you will miss him too and our hearts go out to you all.
Sincerely Rick and Deb
Rob has been our neighbor for 40 years. Rob and Marg both had green thumbs and always kept a beautiful yard with lovely flowers. You couldn't ask for better neighbors. Robins would nest under the soffit near Robs back door every year and he would set up a scarecrow to protect them. Rob always had a positive attitude. We will miss Rob. Our condolences to Ben and family. Denise and Monty Hans
Rob and Marje, and Maureen and Bob have been close friends since our high school days at Western. We have camped with them and travelled together many times.
We are so sorry to hear of Rob’s passing. I have known Ron since Western Canada high Scool days. Marge and I were classmates at The Calgary General Hospital and roomed together while we attended the U.of A. We four had a very memorable camping trip to Vancouver Island shortly after we were married, exploring the island, fishing for sea perch, then cooked over a campfire. Rob gave us expert guidance in clamming and how to prepare a bucket of steamed clams. Such fun to remember the good times. We are very sure Rob and Marge are together once again in a joyful reunion! Our sincere condolences on your loss, may your memories of your father, grandfather bring you comfort as you grieve.
Sincerely,
Bill and Carol Ann Sears
