The sad news of “Uncle Bill” leaving this world opened up in me many memories from times long ago, memories of happy times when our young families enjoyed many visits and celebrations together. Now thinking of him, Bill’s smiling face appears in my mind, exuding a feeling of kindness and caring and humour and peace, as if saying “We’ve got this,- everything is okay!”
Heartfelt condolences and love to Cara and Allison and all the family.

We are saddened to learn of Bill’s passing. I worked with Bill at Macleod Dixon for over 20 years; he was always kind, caring and kept his sense of humour in challenging situations. I have some wonderful memories of Bill — I can picture him now with his blue eyes twinkling telling a funny story. Rest in peace, Bill. You made the world a better place.
My sincere condolences to Bill’s family. I wish I could attend the celebration of life, but unfortunately will be out of town.

I worked with Bill for more than 30 years, notably on Macleod Dixon's initiatives in the former Soviet Union, and developed a deep appreciation for his outward-looking business vision and sense of humour. He will be remembered with affection and respect by his former Macleod Dixon partners, including me. I offer my heartfelt thoughts and condolences to his family.
I will miss my cousin Bill, the closest I had as a brother for the last 80 years, since we grew up together in Montreal.
I have many happy memories of times together which involved many adventures and much laughter. Bill had a somewhat wry but great sense of humour! Bill always supported and encouraged me in all aspects of my life and set a good example of what honesty and integrity means, something we could use more of today! Thanks Bill and condolences to Cara, Allison, Will, Duncan, Georgia and Quincy. Bill gained so much pleasure from and was so proud of you all!
