I’m so sorry to hear of Paul’s passing. Such a great soul and an inspiration to all! Lots of laughs shared up at the cabin. He will be missed! My deepest condolences to all of your family during this challenging time.
Dear Mrs. Timko, Leanne, Mark, Joleen and family,
My heart goes out to all of you for the loss of your husband and father. I remember Mr. Timko having a kind spirit and quick wit. I know my dad cherished those late, loud, poker nights and icing fishing expeditions. He would proudly send us fishing photos. May you be comforted in people sharing their fond memories and surrounded by love and support. I bet Mr. Timko has joined in a heavenly poker game with his buddies who were called home before him.
May you be comforted in this Native American proverb ~ “The soul would have no rainbow if the eyes had no tears.”
With love and sympathy, Leanne Fahey
Mr. Timko was one of the few people in my early life who helped me understand that I was important and valuable.
His ability to see the goodness in everyone he encountered made him one of the most respected individuals, and all of us were fortunate to know him.
My heart fluttered when I heard the news. Although I hadn't thought of Mr. Timko in decades, I realize now just how much he influenced my life without me even being aware of it at the time.
I consider myself extremely lucky to be able to say that this individual helped me set my life on the right path.
Mr. Timko was our science teacher at St. Mary's High School (boys) in 1965-1966 . I have thought about him over the years and wondered how he was, and where his life took him over these many years. He was a real influence on us, and took his position seriously, and was strict but very fair, if I remember correctly. Many condolences to his family.
Paul was an outstanding person and was a fine leader in Ffather Lacomne high school. He encouraged everyone to give their maximum to themselves and the school. He sought ideas from everyone looking for the best ideas for the school. He created a fine school in Calgary. I was so proud to work with him. Ed Hamel.
Paul was a special man whose legacy was the teaches and students he influenced at Father Lacombe High School to achieve their dreams and contribute to making a better world. Peace and blessings to his family.

When I moved to Calgary in 1980 and attended Father Lacombe High School, Dr. Timko took me on a tour of the school himself. He also checked in on me throughout the first semester to make sure I was doing ok being in a new high school. He was a kind and caring man. He will be greatly missed.
Our sincere condolences to Flo and family. I was fortunate to have many Friday meetings with Paul over the years and always enjoyed his company, wit, intelligence and humour. There were many stories of his salmon and ice fishing adventures. He will be sorely missed. Here’s to memories of a great guy!
Our deepest condolences for your loss. Dr. Timko was an amazing principal, confidante and gladly handed out wisdom in order to make us better prepared for what the world had in mind for us. He will be fondly remembered always. Roland and Teresa Labreche (Bergman)
Dr. Timko was my principal at Father Lacombe when I was a student. I came from a small town in Alberta, he was always available to support me when I attended school there, never turned me away because he was too busy. He is the only principal that has made a lasting impression in my life.
Dear Leanne, and family,
Please accept our heartfelt condolences during this incredibly difficult time. I can’t imagine how you must be feeling, but I hope you find comfort in the cherished memories you shared with your father.
You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers, and we wish you strength and peace in the days ahead.
With deepest sympathy,

During my first year of teaching high school, Dr. Timko was not just my boss but also my mentor. His compassion, guidance, and humor were the driving forces that motivated me to continue teaching for over 45 years. I will always cherish his invaluable advice and his unwavering love for his students. At Father Lacombe, he made everyone feel special and deserving of respect. His legacy of caring and hope will live on forever.

Dr. Timko was the principal while I attended Father Lacombe Senior High School. But he was more than “the principal” he was our leader and someone I looked up to; fair, consistent, and always offering tough love to make us all better. My deepest condolences to your family…Thank you for sharing him with us students and faculty. May he rest easy in the arms of the lord.

Had Mr. Timko for a teacher in Jr High. He had a lot to deal with - we were rebellious. He had a great sense of humor.
We will miss Uncle Paul deeply and send our love to all of you. We’ll always cherish the many shared laughs, stories of our childhood, fishing tips, and the endless kindness and offer of a helping hand up at Seymour Arm. He was always a bright light to be around!! With love, Mirette, Scott, Syd, Matthew and Chase
Dear Flo and family,
The world is less bright with the passing of Paul. I can still remember the first time I met him in 1978! He was a breath of fresh air compared to my other Principals. Paul's sense of commitment to staff and students was so very evident during our first meeting. I thoroughly enjoyed our get togethers and celebrations. When I became an administrator, his kindness, love of learning, joy of life, and boundless energy were traits I tried to emulate.
I am so very sorry for your loss. Sending healing hugs.
