Condolences
Aunt Hazel, Keith, Connie and Brian. I'm sorry I was unable to attend Uncle Ron's service, but I did get to watch the live feed. It was a beautiful service. I remember as a kid thinking that Uncle Ron must be very sophisticated because of those fancy wine bottles that were in wicker baskets. And I'll always remember his fancy foot work on the dance floor. It was a joy watching your Mom and Dad lite up the dance floor with their jive. And I'll never forget the hospitality at your Mom and Dad's place. You never had to worry about a place to stay when you were in Calgary. Rest in peace Uncle Ron we will miss you Love June and Gilles
Condolences to Hazel, Keith & Brian. I have many fond memories of Sunday dinners with your family. I enjoyed many chats with Ron about travel throughout the Spanish speaking world. He was truly one of the most interesting people I have ever met.
Aunt Hazel, Keith & Connie, Brian,
I have many fond memories of Uncle Ron and I am saddened by his passing. I remember Uncle Ron with great fondness and he will always have a place in my heart. I remember particularly well that Uncle Ron always treated us with respect and had time to listen to us and answer our questions, no matter how inane they might been. It wasn't a proper family get together without Uncle Ron coming around the corner with his trusty 6 pack of PIL in hand. He was always generous with his time and opinions for me and I think the only time I ever saw him upset was when we would try to pay for lunch. Rest in Peace Uncle Ron, you will be missed.

Auntie Hazel, Keith (Connie) & Brian, I was saddened to hear of Uncle Ron’s passing. Albeit, he had a good long life, it’s never easy to lose someone you love and care about. Uncle Ron, was an Uncle like no other, he was kind, gentle, very well spoken and I was always impressed with his intelligence and tenacity and who could forget his 68 truck!! His love of travel and linguistics (Uncle Ron, I’m doing best to learn Brazilian Portuguese) inspired me and I enjoyed hearing about his experiences. I’m still in awe of him telling us about being mugged in a foreign country and chasing down the culprits to get his wallet back.
I was delighted every time our families got together for family functions or any time I got a chance to visit Calgary to see Auntie Hazel and Uncle Ron. I’ve always felt truly blessed to come from such a wonderful family with so many Aunts and Uncles. A bowl of popcorn holds special meaning to me as remember Uncle Ron’s cheese popcorn. What a treat that was. And, while having a meal out Paul and I we learned the nuances of “lupper”, not quite lunch and not quite supper but mid day “lupper”. A concept Paul and I regularly prescribe to since then.
With love and hugs, may you rest in peace.

The Brownings have been in my life for a very long time, meeting Brian in high school, then meeting his brother Keith around the same time. A lot of fond memories with the entire family, especially the Browning pool. Meeting Mr Browning for the first time was a bit intimidating, but I found he was a very smart kind man who helped others when needed. Mr Browning always had a cold beer waiting for us when we came over for visits, of course he usually asked us to help with a chore first. haha Over the years I have had the pleasure of having some good conversions with Mr Browning and hearing some great stories. Mr Browning always had a shot with us at all the BBQ's we attended. He never wanted anyone to treat him differently in his older years and we listened. I will do the same when I'm in my retirement years. I have always looked up to him and I wish the family all the best through this difficult time. Cheers Ron!
