Condolences
Cathy has been my friend since 1946 when we were classmates in Grade 4 at Albert School in Saskatoon. I have always admired her for her quick wit, her way with words, her style, her independence, her self-confidence.
Rest in peace, dear friend.
Sylvia (Bentley) Vicq, Regina, SK
Catherine was my High School French teacher at Crescent Heights. I have fond memories of her classes and went on to teach French myself, partly due to her inspiration.
Thank you for your dedication.
Trying to find the right words to describe someone who has left such an indelible memory on you is hard. Knowing that she held a strong and thorough command of the English language makes it that much harder LOL.
There were many big moments in my life when she encouraged and supported me, and there were also the less important moments where her acknowledgment meant the world to me.
Cath had a contagious laugh, a beautiful smile and a sparkle in her eyes that would let you know that you weren’t going to get anything past her. She was brilliant, funny and made me always feel like I was important to her. What more could a nephew ask for?!?
I will miss our witty and silly conversations. My only regret is that we never lived closer to each other so that we could have shared more time together. Rest in peace my lovely aunt.
