Condolences
Sorry to hear the sad news of Kirk passing. I worked with him closely for ten years at Shaw TV. I enjoyed my time with him. He always had a joke to tell, was passionate about broadcasting and was kind to those he worked with. He will be missed. Thinking of his family and friends at this sad time.

Deep sorrow for all the sadness that death too soon brings. I knew Kirk in the mid 1990s as a volunteer at Calgary Cable and then for ten years 1997 to 2097 at Shaw TV. He cared about his work and he was deeply committed to getting the job done right. I also remember his sharing about his woodworking.
RIP Kirk
See you at the big smoke break in heaven
I will always remember Kirk when I was filming my television show " Soul Work" at Shaw TV .I called him " Kirky Doodles" he was so much fun and I considered Kirk as my Shaw TV soul family. We kept in touch after Shaw ended filming productions.I knew he was sick as I kept in touch with him and my last text message was on December 26 2024 and he said he was not doing well. I knew in my heart that his time was limited and my heart was breaking with sadness. I will allways treasure my memories with Kirky close in my heart and soul.We have lost such an incredible person who always brought laughter with his sense of humour. I will see you on the other side Kirky ! Until we meet again,I will miss our chats and times we shared ! Love.Jeni Ji Cousins
Kirk supervised volunteer- based production program during his last years at Shaw and it was a blast to be a part of. Wonderful mentor to the young and emerging professionals. I'll never forget how open and supportive he was. RIP Kirk.
Deepest condolences. I worked with Kirk for 17 years at CCTV and ShawTV and everyday we had a laugh. I also had the pleasure of receiving an awesome intricate wooden keep sake box, which was beautiful. Glad I got to see you in my last visit to Calgary. RIP my friend, til we meet again.
I really liked Kirk. He was bright, funny and cared well. Always professional and delighted to help. He was a gift to civilization.
