I will miss Mama G. I called her that because if you got a “Hello my girl” you were a friend. If you got a hug with it, you were family. I think all of us were family. Gladys and Ray had an aura about them that was always welcoming. Always accepting. I treasure a day I spent baking with her. She taught me her shortbread recipe. I will remember her each time I smell cinnamon buns.
