Gil was a dear, dear man and I will miss him. The first time I met Gil was probably around 2016 or thereabouts. He and Eva came to Vancouver for a visit. Gil endeared himself to me by showing me many, many pictures of his beloved cat, Roots. He was a kind man, smart, and with a great sense of humour. Have a safe fight, Gil.
