Condolences
I first met Jeanette 40 years ago when she came into the office looking for a new Doc. She was instantly liked by both Dr Mahon and Dr Milne and we all admired her tenacity for life and love. Everytime she poked her head in the door we instantly started to smile and laugh. She had a keen sense of humor and I missed that most of all when Dr Milne passed away and we had to close the office. I will always remember her. God Bless you Jeanette.

You will be missed. Friends for over 40 years. We had some great times. Our bob sled ride at olympic park in Calgary which you bought me for my birthday. We all went down together then dinner. Our wonderful trip to San Francisco. Our trips to Vegas. Spending many Christmas and New Year’s dinners. Our year 2000 cruise Y2k, we thought if the world was going to end lets die on a cruise ship. Our three buoys river boat holiday. So many great memories. Rest in peace my friend.
It’s difficult to think about life without Jen, she was so full of life. My past wife knew Jen and Bob for a long time.
I first met Jeannette with Ciana as we were walking our dogs aprox 20 years ago. A feisty lady whom I grew to love over the last 5 years. A generous heart and spirit, a quick wit and tongue -never backing away from saying sorry if needed. She loved to play cards and board games and I happily spent many Fri eve’s with her doing just that. We shared many evening dinners at the Hardy’s with her “grandchildren”. She -on occasion-could even be convinced to eat some veggies!
Pain in my heart seeing Jeannette suffering:….one of the comforts I offered was a stuffed bear I found sitting on a chair in her bedroom. The laugh that came downstairs as she found the bear tucked into her bed was all I needed to know her new bed friend had been accepted. The fun all of us ladies had in naming her bear…Theadore. He became a fixture as her illness progressed, a constant companion whom I had to rescue on more than one occasion!
It is fitting that he was tucked into her arm by the RN’s at the end.
As I write this, I now realize that Theadore was not fully there to just comfort Jeannette as was my intention-he now resides with me and comforts me. Along side him on the dresser is Jeannette’s other bear whom I named “Jay”…with Jeannette’s approval. :)
I will miss Jeannette and she will never be forgotten.
Until we meet again my friend.
Love, Karen
I wish that I had met you a long time ago. The time spent with you I will cherish forever.
Love you,

I will miss Jeannette’s sense of humour and all her wonderful email comments. She introduced me to many of her Calgarian friends and included me in many of her trips and adventures in Costa Rica, Arizona, etc. It was a pleasure to spend time with Jeannette in March and meet the group of amazing Ladies + Paul + Ron.
My heart goes out to all her friends who will sorely miss her. She will certainly never be forgotten.

I miss you my friend. You taught me so much. Our time together and travel adventures ended far too soon.
Love you, Judy
“Frenchy”, we had so many good times over the 28 years as neighbours. You will be greatly missed. Liberal John
I met Jeannette 50 years ago when I went to work for Great American Insurance Co., 10 days after I and my family landed in Canada.. Bob worked there too, and I remember when they got married. We all became great friends on moving to Calgary, and bought acreages, horses, and spent Christmases together. In other words we were not just friends, but family.
Through happy times, bad times, and living apart, we were always friends, supporting each other.
Now there is just my son, Ralph and I left of that family, and we bless every day we had with them.
We will never forget Jeannette, or Bob. Life is that little bit emptier now.
