I was very sorry to hear about your mum. I had such fun with her when she lived at Garrison Woods Manor. She was such a bright light and we had many good talks in the lobby and shared a few glasses of wine in her apartment. She was such a good friend to my mum Joan who just passed away yesterday in Yellowknife at the age of 94. Mum had 8 happy years at the Manor and made many new friends. Your mom was one of them. From my family to yours please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

We have known Jack and Margaret at Holy Name Church for many years, and we will be honoured to serve Mass at her funeral on Tuesday.

For many years Marg. was a good friend and neighbour, contributing of her talents to the building and well-being of our Glengarry neighbourhood; the Kearns home and yard was a welcoming place for family, friends, and especially the neighbourhood children. It was our loss when she moved to Garrison Woods as we gradually lost contact, but thankfully there are still many happy memories, and pictures of our countless good times. Marg. has left a legacy of having lived a full and happy life. My sympathy to each of you through this difficult time.

What a full life she had. I had the privilege and pleasure to be her neighbor about 10 years ago in the Garrison Woods condominium. She was a grace filled lady and I am blessed to have known her.

I am sorry for your loss (heaven’s gain) and I hope you know that she is with you still.
