Our heartfelt condolences and sympathy on the passing of your dear wife Aiko. It has been many years since we saw you, but I still remember the Hori’s from the 400 block of Powell Street.

Dear Rose, Doug and Uncle Hedi,
Our sincerest condolences on the passing of your mom. I will always remember Auntie Aiko as such a full of life lady and mom’s best chat buddy. There were occasions when I was home when your mom and dad would be visiting the Okanagan. It was hilarious to be woken up at 3:00 in the morning to hear your mom and my mom sitting in the family room yakking away, giggling like girls! She always had so many stories to tell, it was always such a great time visiting with her.
Thinking of you at this sad time.
Love Jeanette and Bob
Dear Rose, Doug, and Uncle Hedi
We are saddened by Auntie Aiko’s passing. Our thoughts are with you in this really hard time. I have spent the last few days remembering what a great lady she was and how missed she will be. Mom (Sachiyo), is sad, finding it hard to believe that she is gone, but passes on to you her deepest sympathies. She very much lives in the days gone by right now, and finds it hard to believe that any of her siblings have passed on.
I especially feel your pain, Rose, it is hard to be an only child at this time. I am glad you have Brenda to talk to and support you, as it is difficult to go through this journey and bear the weight alone. I appreciate the support of my cousins!
May happy memories of your Mom help you!
Please keep in touch,
Love Ted and Sharon and Auntie Sachiyo.
To Peter, Rosie & Doug.
I wish to send my sincere condolences to you all.
I have special memories of Aiko as we would visit when my parents ( Matt & Jean Kobayashi. ) would be in Calgary. We always enjoyed great meals together. She always had a project on the go. I especially remember the origami she did. I couldn’t believe how she was able to fold such small pieces and assemble them together to make such intricate designs.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love Lynn Kobayashi
