I was fortunate to meet Gerda, as I was the receptionist at her doctors office at the old General Hospital. This was several years ago. Gerda never failed to bring a flower to me, a small box of chocolates and even a nice gift when my daughter was born, now 23 years ago. She was a delightful lady full of lot’s of “spunk” I am so happy to have known her. My condolences to Gerda’s family.
Dear Irene,
At this difficult time in the sudden loss of your mother, may you always take comfort in knowing that she is in the arms of our Lord.
Those precious memories that you both shared together will be a priceless treasure. Always remember that you are loved by God; he
is not only your heavenly Father, but your comfort and friend, especially in times such as these. Also, we as your fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord are here for you as well…you are well loved..
God never meant for any of us to be alone. He loves us all. Take comfort in the words of Psalm 23….We hope it can bring you peace.
Love, Fred and Sheryl
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Hold tight to memories for comfort, lean on your faith and those around you for strength, and remember your cherished Gerda and you are loved and that you’ll meet again.
“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.” John 11:25,26
Love, Jill
My heart goes out to you Irene and to your brother Fred, and to your family in these moments. Praying that our Heavenly Father gives all of you the strength you need for the passing of your loved Gerda. I will always love Gerda and I will miss her dearly. Dunia
