Alex and I were so sorry to hear of your dear Mom’s passing. She had a most interesting life history and we enjoyed her genuine friendship over the years. Irene and crossed trails many times at the hair lounges, always a happy smile for everyone….She’ll truly be sorely missed.
Myself and Fran are so sorry to hear of your Mother’s passing. Our condolences go out to all the family.
Sincerely, Fran McTaggart and Susan Peacock (nee Baptie)
I admired Irene so much and enjoyed our bridge and phone visits over the years. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. I’m sorry I can’t be with you all at her funeral for a final good bye.
Sincere sympathy,
Barbara Kwasny
Although we did not know Irene and David for as many years as the long-time residents of Cochrane and the surrounding districts, we both had a great respect for both of them. After David passed away, we know that Irene continued to be very gracious and an inspiration to her family and friends. At 95 she certainly had a wonderful life and did so many interesting things, and we are saddened that she is no longer here to remind us. We wish the family the best in overcoming their grief.

Dear Beryl, John and Families,
Please accept my sincere condolences for the passing of your Mother. Susan and I (the Baptie girls) always enjoyed talking to her at the SAP Roundup. She always spoke of her David going to school with our Dad, George .

We enjoyed Irene’s company on our once a month outing to the Casino.
She hosted us after one of our outings at her home. We all enjoyed her wonderful home

Beryl, John and family,
Brian, Pauline and family,
I was so sad to hear of your mother’s passing. I will always remember her as a soft spoken lady – always with a kind word and a way of making you feel important. I remember her as a substitute teacher in Brushy Ridge. I am currently away so will not be with you on March 4 as you celebrate her life. Know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers and that the world was a better place for having your mom in it.
