Condolences
It is with great sadness that i learn of Mark's passing. He was one of our young, talented trainees at RBC and I again came in contact with him as his career with Edward Jones was taking off. A very talented, sweet, compassionate young man who embraced everything with such joy. A truly remarkable young man. RIP dear Mark. I will always remember you as you were so very special.
Used to talk to Mark about his ff book collection. Good guy. js

Mark was my best friend from grades 6 to 9. He had a great affect on my life and we’d continue to chat over the years. Last year I visited Calgary and he took me out for drinks. We always got along and could speak frankly. He made me feel better about my troubles, ironically. I feel a deep sense of loss, surprise, and numbness.
My condolences.
I am so sorry on the loss of mark. He was a loyal member to PGIB and a good friend to all who crossed his path.

I am so deeply saddened by this loss. May God surround you all with love, support and grace during this most difficult time. Our prayers are with you.

One day at my door in Canyon Meadows this young capable, aggressive and confident man shows up selling financial investments and it is Mark J. Popp. I immediately liked and respected him and invested with him. Over time I got to know the person and really admired the man. I am truly sorry to hear of the passing of this young, capable and fine person. Mark J Popp impressed me and I was lucky to have met him. So sorry to hear of his loss! PS. He never told me what the J stood for? I felt he had really character always introducing himself as Mark J.

Though I didn’t know him well, the times I did spend with him were filled with his laughter and love for life. He will be missed. My condolences.
My heartfelt condolences go out to you all as you mourn the passing of a special soul. Mark had the unique ability to talk to anyone about anything and always made those he called friends feel loved and appreciated for the insights they shared with him. The deep, philosophical conversations that I personally had with him are held close to my heart. He will be dearly missed and always remembered.

My deepest condolences for your loss. Mark and I met in high school and while we weren’t close friends, we saw each other quite a bit over the years in group gatherings, and he was always fun to be around. A hole in my heart from the tragic news. MJ was such a fantastic friend. It was always a pleasure to have lunch with him and see his smiling face and endless optimism on life. I remember him speaking so highly of Christa and their future. I will miss him so much. I was lucky to have known him for the time I did. RIP you beautiful soul.
Brian and Family.

Tammy and Paul Couillard
My deepest sympathies and prayers go out to everyone in MJ’s family. What an incredible loss and I am totally in shock right now having just received the news of his untimely passing! MJ and I became great friends through our years of attending business networking dinners together. I cannot forget the countless times he insisted on driving me home after the dinners, especially during the cold winters. I will always remember his quick wit and engaging personality, and his selfless dedication to both his business clients and his friends. The world’s a sadder place without your cheery presence, MJ! You will be sorely missed by everyone you left behind.
Mark and I went to high school together. We’ve been buddies for 20 years, poker bros for 15. He was MC at my wedding. I will be forever saddened not to see that smirk when he takes my money or to hear his “Tony Copp, what’s shakin’ brother” when I called him up. Mark J, I love you and you will be missed. May all of us get through the loss of one of the kindest souls I have ever known, my love an prayers go out to his family and all of his friends.
Brian and family,
I am so sorry for your loss and my thoughts are with you.
I went to school with Mark and we touched base occasionally since. I’m so sorry to hear of his passing. My love and thoughts are with you
