Obituary of Mark J POPP

1978 – Regina, SK 2014 – Calgary, AB Mark J Popp of Calgary, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2014 at the age of 35 years. Smart, dedicated, talented, passionate. Mark grew up in Calgary and obtained his Bachelor of Management Degree, spending his entire career in financial services as an independent financial advisor. A whiz at the poker table, loved his dog Rickard, loved to travel, was passionate about people … “always saw the best in people, never had a bad word to say about anyone”. We’ll miss you. Mark is survived by his mother Sandra, his father Brian and brother Michael, girlfriend Christa, grandmother Lillian Popp of Regina, aunts Caren (Tim) Triffo of Calgary, Della (Warren) Storz of Regina, uncle James (Lynn) Popp of Calgary, aunt Val (Vern) Cardinal of Regina as well as other aunts and uncles, cousins Lindsay, Teanna, Steven, Jared, Tracey, Tricia, Matthew, Michelle, Stacey, Joby and uncle Bob. Mark is also survived by numerous other family and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents John Popp, Norm and Mary Krasko. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Fr. Mario Basque officiating.
