Condolences
To Rose’s Family,
Rose was a gem and she will be sorely missed. Her wit and humour made all smile. A Canadian icon, we wish her peace and all of you our sincere condolence during this difficult time.
Love Tom & Lynn
We at The Military Museums are deeply saddened by Rose’s passing. She was a huge part of the social fabric of the museum – we were always glad to see her when she was in. She was also part of the foundation of the museum – it is no exaggeration to say that we would not have a Canadian Women’s Army Corps display without her. She built the CWAC artifact and archival collections through her personal contacts with veterans, and had both the old and new displays developed to her specifications, as well as one of the most important temporary exhibits we’ve done here. She leaves a strong legacy at the museum for future generations and I know that women far into the future will take inspiration from it.
So very sorry to hear of the passing of Grandma Rose (as my kids called her). She took care of us all – bringing us donuts while we worked at camp, way back when. Mum Rose will be missed and is in our prayers along with the Scott, Carrie, Tricia.
Our thoughts and prayers.

My condolences in the loss of Rose. My thoughts are with you all.
I was sorry to hear of Auntie Rose’s passing, we were always so impressed by how well she had been doing and that she had been able to continue volunteering for so long. She will be dearly missed. Thinking of you all during this sad time and sending love.
Rose was a very special lady. You immediately loved her from the moment you met her. She loved her children and accepted their friends immediately into her extended family and her heart. My thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. She will be missed but never forgotten
