Obituary of Donna Lois MAGEE
October 21, 1941– Owen Sound, ON
November 27, 2013 – Calgary, AB
We are deeply saddened by the loss of Donna “Lois” Magee on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at the age of 72 years.
Lois was born on October 21, 1941, grew up in Owen Sound, ON, and will be returned to the Georgian Bay area for a family memorial in the spring of 2014. Lois lived in Australia from 1965 to 1978 and settled in Calgary in 1979. Lois and Al were married for forty-eight years and travelled extensively throughout Australia, Europe and North America.
Lois will be greatly missed by her devoted husband Al, and her children Shannon and Sandy and their spouses Kris and Maria. She was a most loved Nana to her grandchildren, Zoe and River. Lois was a friend to many, a cherished sister and aunt. She is survived by her siblings Anne (Paul), Ruthe (Bill), Don (Susan), and Jessie (Chuck). She was predeceased by her parents Goldie and Jack, and sister Jane.
Lois’ energy, strength and spirit will live on in the hearts of those whose lives she touched so deeply.
