Condolences
This wonderful man was my biological father. I was conceived on a hot summer night in 1964 born on November 19th 1965 I was able to find him thanks to his mother and spoke to Art at various times. I Had the most wonderful adopted family. However, when I was diagnosed so young with aggressive thyroid cancer twice, then with breast cancer, again fast growing type 3 I needed to reach out. The information about the breast cancer needed to shared. This could of shaved someones life. It was no my intention to intrude.. Your father helped give me life, for that i truly am grateful,my only regret not getting to meet all of you.
Sincerely

Dad,
Today, is one of the last days Logan and I get to see you. We are, and will miss you too greatly to imagine right now. Logan said tonight, “God has a big ladder for you”. It was sweet. It was so special spending these last few days with you. I wont let Logan ever forget his Pappa Art…My Dad. (PopTart)
Love Cary and Logan
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of the family today and always. We are sorry to hear about Art , were unaware he was not in good health . God Bless . Keith & Hilda
I will never forget Art watching the Flames playoff run….there was a goal and Art was jumping up and down and screaming until I told him that Detroit was the “Red” team that night. A warm, generous man….
Over the years, Art has sent me (and many others) many beautiful emails: full of meaning, hope and beauty and I hope he would like this quote:
•Unable are the loved to die. For love is immortality. ~Emily Dickinson

With deepest sympathy & condolences to Arts family. Art was a longtime friend and visited us in Kelowna for golfing
trips on several occasions. He will be sadly missed by ourselves and his many friends in Calgary. Art’s fun loving sense of humour and taking over as our Kelowna barbecue cook will always be remembered.
God Bless.
I was saddened to hear of Art’s passing. He was one of the first people that I met when I moved to Calgary and worked down the hall at Dack’s in Bow Valley Square. I always enjoyed our conversations and the last time I saw him, he was driving his T-Bird and he smiled and waved as he drove by. My sincerest condolences to all his family and friends during this difficult time.
With deepest sympathy on the passing of Art. He was a good friend of ours and he will always have a place in our hearts!
Peggy I was saddened to hear of your husbands passing. You had such a short time together but I am sure every day was a treasure.

Always a gentleman, I will remember Art for his generosity and kindness. He is also responsible for my watch addiction and it was always fun to watch sports with Art. His enthusiasm was contagious. He will be missed.

Peggy,
I was sad and shocked to hear of Art’s passing. I didn’t know him well but somehow felt like an old friend with the both him and you Peggy. He had a wonderful sense of humor…especially with me renaming him Al and all ;) His love for you was something incredible, that was obvious. He was a wonderful man…I hold a special place in my heart for you both and will remember him always
