Obituary of Arthur Felix REGENWETTER
1947 – Humbolt, Saskatchewan
2013 – Calgary, Alberta
Art Regenwetter, beloved husband of Peggy Atkinson of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at the age of 65 years.
Art’s passion was jewellery design and creating memorable moments for people. He owned and operated Bow Valley Jewellers and has been in the jewellery industry most of his life. He enjoyed golfing, playing his guitar and spending time with family and friends. Art will be remembered for his sharp wit and impromptu “Artism’s” one-liners.
Besides his loving wife, Art is survived by his mother Agnes Simants; his son Cary Regenwetter; daughter Michelle Regenwetter (Colin); three stepsons Todd Atkinson (Michelle), Colin Atkinson (Melonie) and Jeff Atkinson (Kristin); ten grandchildren Michael, Josh, Logan Alyssa, Matthew, Morgan, Jessa, Harleigh, Sam and Andy; three brothers Leonard Regenwetter (Pam), Louis Regenwetter (Marlene) and Don Regenwetter (Myrt); two sisters Bernadette Lee (Lance) and Cathy Tryon (Jonah) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Art was predeceased by his father Bernard Regenwetter and stepfather George Simants.
