Condolences
To my father in-law, even though we have never met I’m blessed with stories through your daughter. The love that you have for your girls is still very much present with them today. When Carrie and I tied the knot we knew that you wouldn’t miss it for the world, we knew you were there. Carrie always tells me we would have been the best of friends and i wouldn’t doubt that for a second. I promise I’ll look after Carrie and protect her for the years to come.
Rest easy dad
Daddy,
A girl’s first and only true love will always be her father, and you certainly were mine. You will always hold a very, very special place in my heart, because I know that you felt the same way about Mum, Carrie and I.
I am incredibly proud to be your daughter and humbled that I was given the chance to share 22 wonderful years with you. I’ll never forget the way your hands tenderly cradled the first new flowers in the spring, or how they held your newborn baby girls. You taught me that to have a friend, is to be a friend. Thanks for being mine.
Love always,
Allison
Tom you have touched so many people.
Today we wish you a finally farewell.
We all ask why you left but, we know God needed you by His side.
So know you will always be in our thought & hearts
We watch for that ‘penny” from above, that you will send to say “I am o.k. & send you my love”
Best to all your family.
We had a great family at #6 Co-op
R.I.P. Tom
Iris & family
Tom was by my side as I married the only girl I ever loved. We are still together 30 yrs. later. When I think about how our lives followed different channels, I am reminded that we all have vices, And Tom was no exception. What made Tom Truly Special was his virtues. I admired Tom and to me he remains one of the best friends I ever had.
Tom, I’ll see you later.
With love always,
Duncan
I am saddened to hear of Tom’s recent passing. I worked alongside Tom at Calgary Co-op. I retired about a year ago. I would make sure to see Tom for his smiling face and have a good laff on daily visits to the MacLeod Trail Co-op from the office. His dedication to his tasks and responsibilities at Calgary Co-op were second to none! He was so committed to taking time to ensure all his coworkers and customers were looked after. His speed of stocking, his creative talent for display building and his strong work ethics were admired. I am so sorry for your loss of a FINE man. HUGS!! John Ready
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. I have known Tom for 20 years. He was such a nice man. He will be missed! Especially, his sense of dry humour.
Thinking of you Janice… We know he was the love of your life.
Tom and I were best buddies in our early 20’s. Kind of went in different directions as we got older. To the Tenborg family, I am so sorry for your loss, Tom was a good friend and I’m sure, a great father. He will be missed.
With heartfelt condolences to Tom’s mother Trudy who so sadly lost her son and youngest child. I feel your pain and mourn with you. And to his family who so beautifully told of his love of the outdoors and the beauty he saw around him. May his parents hold close fond memories of their times together enjoyed fostering his love for the outdoors and may his children forever cherish their enjoyment received from the passing down of this love. May they keep the memory strong and find their way to pass it on yet again. I wish you all peace in your time of grief.
My deepest condolences to Tom’s family. I worked with Tom 30 years ago; he always had a smile on his face and was kind to all. Tom was a good hearted soul and he will be missed. Keep his memories close to your heart.
