Obituary
Obituary of Thomas Tom Wayne TENBORG
1960 – Dawson Creek, BC
2013 – Calgary, AB
A kind and gentle soul has been taken from us. Tom Tenborg passed away on Friday, May 24, 2013 at the age of 52 years.
Tom, a loving father, friend and adored family member leaves behind a beautiful life. He was born in Dawson Creek, BC and moved to Calgary as a young adult. Tom spent time between Tom’s Lake and Kelowna, his grandparent’s homes, and his new home of Calgary. Tom’s passions included his beloved daughters, Allison (22) and Carrie (18), and of course tending to the beauty of the outdoors. Every flower and every blade of grass hold his loving soul. Tom leaves a lifetime of dedication and hard work to Calgary Co-Op grocers, just short of thirty-eight years.
Tom is survived by his parents, Maurice Tenborg and Trudy Mackie; his three older siblings, Linda, Russell and Laverne; and of course, his little girls, Carrie and Allison. A man who was short on stature and long on laughter will always be remembered.
