My deepest and warmest condolences to the family. We visited Olive and Ming many of times while my Granddad came from England to visit family. She opened up her home and her heart to all she meet. My daughter only got a handful of times to meet this amazing women but she adored her every time she went over there. Her smile lit up a room and the banter between Ming and Olive and Granddad was times to never forget. Olive was like family to my Granddad and me too. It might be years since they last saw each other but when they got together it was like they just saw each other at the pub for a pint! She will be missed and never forgotten.

Dear Sarah and Simon, Our family send our sincere condolences on the passing of your mother, Olive. Juliane and Andrew knew your mother well when they attended St. Philip school. Also, as parents, we appreciated the wonderful job she did as the school librarian. As a volunteer, Diane enjoyed working with Olive. She was always a positive and happy person and we know she will be missed.
Sincerely, Diane and Trevor Jennens

Our deepest condolences on your great loss. We pray that you have the strength to overcome this great loss and wishing you and your family peace and the ability to overcome such a great loss.

Mrs. Lau meant so much to my children when they attended Father Doucet. Roald Dahl has never seemed so much alive in his wonderful stories as when we heard Mrs. Lau read them. I had the pleasure and privilege of getting to know Mrs. Lau while volunteering to work in the library. Never was there a kinder person with a smile for everyone. Thank you.

Loving memories Olive of our time together at Kings College Hospital and our letters every Christmas. I will miss you. Rest in Peace xxx
I am truly sorry to hear about Olive’s passing. I worked with her at Fr. Doucet and we all knew what a treasure she was to staff and students alike. I remember her excitement when she announced that her first grandchild was arriving. I know her spirit will soar forever. Treasure the memories, laughter and take comfort that an angel is watching over you.
May God’s grace strengthen you

We are sadden by the news and would like to offer our condolences. We still remember the days when we were celebrating Sunday Mass at St. Paul’s Church, Edmonton Trail, with you and her in the era of Rev. John Mak. May God look after your family and may Olive rest in peace.

1 Thessalonians 4:14-17
For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.

Those we hold closest to our hearts never truly leave us. They live on in the kindness they have shared and the love they brought into our lives.

Ming, Sarah, Simon & Families,
I am blessed to have known and worked with Olive. One of my fondest memories was when Ming and Olive’s first grandchild was born. Olive invited myself & my late husband Les to share a glass of brandy with them. Ming and Olive had bought the bottle on their honeymoon in England and saved it to open upon the arrival of their first grandchild!! What a special moment to share! Olive was very special and loved children and the children at Fr. Doucet School loved her!
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Love and miss you Aunty Olive, always and forever.
Mr. Lau,
We have no words to express how very sorry we wre for the sadness that you now feel with the loss of your beloved wife. Nor can we say anything to you, Simon and Sarah, that will take away the pain of losing your mum,
Hayden and I have talked a lot over the past few days of what your wife and mum gave to us and to everyone she met. She always carried with her a quiet strength, immense kindness, great spirit and a feeling of comfort everywhere she went. To have lived well, laughed often and loved much is the call that we all have on this earth and she exceeded those expectations of who we are called to be.
The only thing that we have concluded that we can say is thank you for allowing us, all of us, to be a part of your hearts and sharing your wonderful wife and mum.
I personally, am so thankful for her support, her love towards my child and her friendship.
During this time of grief, know that God has welcomed her home and she is renewed in His glory. Know too, that all those who were touched by her are united in sharing your sadness and are here in any way that you need. God Bless
Danielle and Hayden Revering
