Condolences
Hi,
Uncle Charlie was a wonderful Great Uncle. He was loved by our family in St Catharines and we always looked forward to his yearly spring visits. My Nana was Charlie’s oldest sister and she adored him. We unfortunately never met his son Wally or grand daughter Suzanne but he always kept us up to date on their lives. We miss our uncle and hearing his stories and about the other part of our family.
A life well lived!
Best Regards,
Sharon May (aka: Beverly VanSickle May’s daughter)
I was Charlie’s neighbour and friend at The Hull Estates and was sorry when he moved away, but fully understood his decision to go to assisted living. Mom and I played cards with Charlie and later shared some social time with him, especially related to mom’s birthday, a date she shared with Charlie. May our Charlie rest in peace.
My family would also like to send our heartfelt appreciation to the good people at Eau Claire Retirement home that cared for my Grandfather for the last 5 years as well as providing the much needed palliative care in his final days. Also a special thank you to Dr. Simmons and the wonderful Nurses, Doctors and Staff at Rockyview Hospital that looked after Charlie when he was in the hospital. We are forever grateful for the many blessings provided to our family by such kind and compassionate people.
