Condolences
As one of the children Helen was extremely kind to as a child. I was saddened to discover that she had passed away. I had been trying to trace her to invite her to my wedding. Her kindness to me as a child is something that I have never forgotten, nor the hours that she spent patiently helping me with my reading. Bob and Helen were wonderful neighbours at 101 and will always be fondly remembered by me.
Sorry to read of your sad loss. Helen was much thought of when we were altogether in McCheyne Church, Dundee, along with Bob. We welcomed her Christmas letter from Calgary every year and know she suffered much with arthritis – now she is free from pain and at peace. God Bless.
Ben and I were so sorry to hear that Helen had passed away. I didn’t meet her very often but always heard about her adventures. Ben and I got to speak to her last year on Skype and we really enjoyed catching up with her. I know you will all miss her greatly but I hope that with time you will all be able to remember her and the lovely times you shared with a smile.
Our thoughts are with you all.
Ushma and Ben
It is with great sadness to hear of the passing of Helen Simpson. We last saw her in person in 2004, and always received news from her at Christmas. We will always remember the warmth she spread around us when we were together at family occassions.
We are all thinking of her and may her soul rest in peace.
