Obituary of Hans Matthias Rosenbeck

October 1, 2019 – Calgary, Alberta

Matt Rosenbeck of Calgary, AB passed away on his birthday, Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at the age of 73 years.

Matt immigrated to Canada in 1952 with his family, settling in central BC.  He had good memories of his childhood. Winters entailed shovelling copious mounds of snow off the rooftop, but also brought the joy of skiing with friends.

After attending secondary school in Quesnel, Matt found a career path in the insurance industry, working in locations across Canada and in a wide variety of fields. Leisure time was spent hiking, golfing, watching football and spending time at the pub with friends.

Matt leaves behind his adored sister Christa and younger brother Hans (Kelli). He is also survived by June and many extended family and friends.
