Obituary of Scott STOKES

November 10, 1989 – January 28, 2013 Scott Stokes, beloved son of Darrell and Ingrid, passed away on January 28, 2013 at the age of 23 years. Scott was born in Calgary and moved to Chestermere where he graduated in 2007. Scott will be dearly missed by his little sister who he shared a special bond with. Their relationship had an intuitive connectedness that was noticed by all. He always put his own needs aside, especially when he saw an opportunity to inspire and help others. His calm demeanor and witty sense of humour will not be forgotten by everyone whose lives he has touched. Scott is survived by his parents Darrell and Ingrid; sister Sarah; grandparents, Herbert and Renate Huebner, Gordon and Audrey Stokes; uncles, Herb Huebner and Craig Stokes; aunts, Monica Huebner, Elke and her husband Dave Claughton, Kim Stokes, and Janice Stokes; cousins, Jordan and Josie Claughton, Chad Baily and Chantelle Barnes; and numerous extended family and friends. Scott was predeceased by his brothers, Cory and Stephen Stokes; grandmother Margaret Pitcher; and uncle Werner Huebner.
