Joe, did not have the pleasure of meeting/knowing Lana and haven`t kept in the loop of what you both had been doing all these past years, yet certainly surprisingly shocked/surprised to hear the unfortunate news. All the best to you and families in dealing with your loss.
Lana was my first friend in Port Moody back in 1969. She was always great fun to hang out with. We lost touch after she had her daughters but we were always able to talk to each other when we saw each other. I have been in touch with Karen over the last couple of years and she has kept me informed about her condition. It is so very sad that she is gone and that her family has to go through this. Our heart felt condolences go out to her husband and her two wonderful daughters. She will be missed dearly. I know that she is watching out for her family and was proud to be a mother to Lisa and Karen. Our deepest sympathy for your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss. Though I only knew Lana through the Poker League, I admired her spirit and was impressed by her level of play. I think it’s wonderful that the two of you found a passion that you could enjoy together. Time will take away the hurt but never the memories.
