Condolences
Rick,
I apologize for the tardiness of this message. I was sorry to read of your mothers passing.I am sure you have great memories of the many years you enjoyed with her. Our thoughts are with you during this time.
I have many fond memories of your mom. At the church.
She was such a dedicated member of the Women’s Fellowship.
Rick when ever you are in Calgary know that Grace will always welcome you with open arms.
Rick, Your mother was a very special person in life and lived it to the fullest. She will always be remembered for her kindness and generosity and as a model for us all to live our own lives. We have all been blessed to have known her and will continue to be blessed with our memories of her.
Hi Rick, our next door Dunlap neighbour for many years. Last time we met, I told you of some of my very good memories of your mom and dad. It was their vocation to care and so they did. When my daughter was ill, they showed up every 3 to 4 weeks with a milkshake from Dairy Queen. I’ll never forget that. I won’t be at the service on Monday, so please accept a hug from me in absentia. You’ve been wonderful to Jean. It was noticed….. Take care, Joanne
Rick, I just learned of your Mother’s passing. A childhood friend forwarded the obituary. My parents R.D. and Juanda Hood (deceased) always enjoyed your parents company at dinner or the opera. I have fond memories of being included in one of Jean’s birthday dinners when I was in Calgary visiting my parents and of you and Jean attending a birthday dinner with Mother. Take care – this is a big transition.

Ricky D I will take copies of your mothers obit to Tiebuckers this evening especially for Barry & Julie and others who you know and have treated so kindly Although I did not know your mother I have fond memories of your father. Please accept our sincerest condolences
Rick – Your Mom was the kindest and most generous person I have ever known. She loved everyone she met and always inquired about their welfare. She truly cared about all her friends and acquaintances. She had such a cheerful approach to life even when her macular degeneration worsened. We shared that problem and often discussed it but it never slowed her down. It was a privilege to know her.
I remember that my parents (Steve & Betty Stevenson) were very close friends of the Dunlaps. I recall meeting the family in the 1950’s when my father had a drilling company based in Calgary. I just remember that my folks ALWAYS spoke very highly of your parents. My prayers to you and your family.
Rick: We are so very sorry to hear about your Mom. We were neighbours with your Mom and Dad for several years in Eau Claire and got to know and appreciate them. They were truly fine people and we will all miss them very much. Our prayers our with you. God Bless.
Bob and Diana Welty

Rick, My Mom (Carol Pritchard) called to tell me that your loving mother passed away. We loved your mom and dad very much and I spent time today remembering so many treasured times and how they have touched my life. Your mom was the first person to hold my son 27 years ago – I just looked at the photo last week. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and I will find a quiet spot on Sept 10th to share in prayer and celebration of Jean’s life. God bless you. Judi (Pritchard) Spencer
