It is with a deep sadness that I offer my heartfelt condolences to all of Barb’s family on your devastating loss. My memories of Barb are clear though it has been many years since I worked in both shops. My lasting and most vivid impression is of laughter; deep, sincere, heartfelt. Barb always glowed when I saw her and I felt welcomed and appreciated. I will miss her and always regret that I didn’t get back in touch after returning from living in Europe. Barb’s was a unique and dynamic soul; loving and true. She was a wonderful role model and while she was only a few years older than I am, I looked up to her and admired all she did.
I know that my mom, Rini, is as affected by this as I am. Thank you, Barb, for caring about my mom for all those years. You were such an important part of her life and will forever be lovingly remembered by our family.
