Dear Pat, Wayne, Craig, Brad & Family. I was deeply shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Rance. I worked alongside Rance for many years at Canada Post and I can truly say that Rance knew how to turn a completely dark and gloomy day into the brightest of days with his demeanor and sense of humour. He was an amazing man to work beside as I fondly remember our days at Calgary Central downtown. Rance certainly knew how to brighten a person up when things seemed hopeless. I was so pleased when Rance came to visit me at the Tom Baker Center, with his positive attitude, when I was going through my battle with the dreaded disease. I will always remember Rance as he holds a special place in my heart. I offer you all my heartfelt sympathy and condolences in this difficult time, Sincerely Jim Saunders.
So sorry for your loss…we are thinking of everyone out there.
Love Dale, Debbie and kids

Wayne, Heather and Family,
My sincere condolences for the loss of your dad. Thinking of you at this sad time.
My dear Pat and family: I was so shocked and filled with sorrow at reading the passing of your loving husband and to the boys their father. I had no idea that he was ill and for that I am truly sorry for not being in touch the past year. I worked with Rance for so many years and he was truly an amazing guy (one of my favorites) Please let me know when the memorial get together will be. Take care Pat and my thoughts and prayers are with you! Nora
Dear Pat and Family, I am so sorry to hear of Rance’s passing. He was a good husband, father, grandfather and a great work friend. I so enjoyed working with him. You can see by the picture in the paper that he had such a twinkle in his eye and that meant many rounds of laughter from jokes that he was apart of. We use to call him our Stud Muffin! I also enjoyed coming to see him at the hockey games during intermissions just to say hi and see how the family was doing. He was a great person to work with and I enjoyed that time. Take care Pat and my thoughts our with all of you at this most difficult time. All my love Sue Murray
To the Andrews family, our sincere condolences on the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. We enjoyed meeting Rance and family at the Calgary Flames games as our season tickets were directly behind yours until this past season. We noticed Rance was not at the last few games and hoped he was not ill. Our thoughts are with you.
Wayne Heather and Family.
It is with great sadness reading about the passing of your dad. It was always great having come to the dressing room and share his thoughts during our time at Mount Royal.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this very difficult time.

I really liked being around Rance, he had that little grin and a great sence of humor. And the Stampede parade will never be the same to me again and many others will feel the same way. I hope he will have the best seat there is this year. He will be missed by many friends. RIP MY FRIEND.
