Obituary of Rance ANDREWS

April 13, 1943 – June 8, 2012 After a short and valiant battle against cancer and the complications it caused, Rance passed away surrounded by family on Friday June 8, 2012 at the age of 69. Rance was an employee of Canada Post until his retirement and was an avid and life-long fan of the L.A. Dodgers, the Calgary Stampeders and the Calgary Flames. Rance is survived by his wife Pat (nee Thrower); sons Wayne, Craig and Bradley; daughters-in-law Heather, Tara and Tonalee; much loved grandchildren Christopher, Courtney, Maddison, Kyara, Rudi and Aaron. He is also survived by brothers-in-law Don Jennings, Doug Thrower and his family, as well as the extended Thrower family in Ontario. Rance was predeceased by his parents Margaret and Les Andrews and his sister Annlynn Jennings. The family would like to thank the staff on Unit 73 at the Rockyview General Hospital, as well as everyone at the Sarcee Hospice for their support and care. Private cremation has taken place. There will be a gathering of family and friends in late July. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
