Tom, Jane and Family:
Barb and I want to send our deepest sympathy on the passing of your father. I met Bill on several occasions and admired him for all his contributions he made to the oil patch and Calgary. He will be greatly missed. We are sorry that we could not be at his memorial service as we are presently in West Palm Beach Florida.
Sheila and family,
We are sending our condolences to the family. We have such fond memories of you and David coming to ARBI for visits. He was always so interesting and such a fine gentleman. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Judy Stawnychko on behalf of all your friends at ARBI.
Dear Sheila and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time.
My husband passed away 2 months ago and so I can share your heartbreak.
Sincerely.
Jean (Sargeamt) Schulte
Dear Sheila and Barnett family:
Our sympathies are with you all as you mourn the loss of Uncle Bill. We share comfort in knowing he is in a better place. He was a special person that with all his talents, was always willing to give his time to others. I will always remember him leading us all on Indian arrow head hunting adventures at the farm. He will be missed, but will continue to inspire.
Yours sincerely,
Jill and Kelly and the Doran family
My condolences to Sheila and family
God bless you all. He will rest in peace now Jane, I am thinking about you and I like the message you sent to the girlfriends. You are very wise

Dan, Janice, Eve and extended Barnett family, we were deeply saddened to hear of Mr. Barnett’s passing. It was our pleasure to have had the opportunity to meet this fine gentleman a number of years ago. We would like to express our deep and heartfelt sympathy on the loss of one so very dear. May it be a comfort to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Love & Prayers,
Judy & Ivan Russell
Sheila and Family
My condolences to the family. Bill and I shared many experiences for some 30+ years in the oil industry. Dealing with a problem or exchanging advise was always on neutral ground, in Bill’s world that was over a good lunch spot of his chosing. Field trips were great and interesting and again a stop at a good eating spot.
I will be recalling the memories of a good friend tomorrow as I am not able to attend his service.
Guy
My condolences to Sheila and family. I want you to know my favorite memory of BILL was in about 1965 or 66 teaching me how to build a fire for brownies in Edmonton. I am sorry for your loss and hope that memory lets you know the impact on many lives that Bill has had. Hello to the whole family . Regards MaryAnn and Margie Crozier
Our deepest condolences and sympathy to Sheila and family. From one geologist to another , Bill………. you are no longer strata bound.
