Obituary of Nancy SHERRY

June 5, 1928 – March 30, 2012 Nancy Sherry passed away on Friday, March 30, 2012 after a brief illness. Nancy’s strong ties to her community and the feeling to always give back were displayed in her volunteer activities that included; Child Find Alberta, Alberta Literacy, and at the Acadia Rec Centre. She supported the Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetes Association, World Wild Life Fund and the Calgary Humane Society. Nancy is survived by her children Laura (Mark), Richard (Cathy), Bruce; grandchildren Jeremy (Krista), Andrew, Amanda, Emily, Connor; sister-in-law Bev; and niece Trudy; as well as her four legged pal, Frankie who was always by her side. Nancy was predeceased by her husband Daniel James in August of 1966. We were lucky to have Mom in our lives for so long. Her strength will live on. A Celebration of Nancy’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.
