Condolences
We want you to know that we are so sorry to learn that Peggy has passed away. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We will always remember that Peggy and Deb came to the memorial service for Ethel. It meant a lot to us.

What memories are roused by seeing Peggy’s picture and reading about her wonderful life.
I’ve not seen Peggy as often over the years as I would have liked BUT each time I did see her she created memories for me that are treasures. One in particular, was a ride through Calgary after being out for dinner. She was the life of the party and the best fun to be with. We were in a taxi en route back to her apartment (we lived in Toronto at the time). A great debate ensued about whether we were going the right direction or not. She ‘apparently’ knew her way home better than we did BUT she took us on with a WAGER. I lost – as we did finally arrive at the right place – but she had the nerve to take my money, since I lost the bet!! Another memory -was when my mother and Peggy traveled to Europe together. I think Mom got back at Peg for ‘taking my money’ in Calgary. She somehow conned poor, unsuspecting Peg into carrying her bags up and down train station stairs as Mom ‘just was too tired’. They, too, as we did, laughed often about that story. I think Mom laughed more than Peggy did.
It all brings to mind the wonderful sense of humour and the genuineness of this terrific lady.
She will be so dearly missed. Her spirit and style lives on through Deb, a dear friend, and her sons Tim and Michael.
Our most heartfelt condolences to you all and your familes.

“Mom Peg”, my last close relationship to her very close Friends; my Mom & Dad Jack & Betty Rose. As long as my memory serves me I can remember our two Families being as one especially on Holiday weekends with banquets at one of our two homes. I love Peg’s picture above……a gorgeous Lady with such an incredible heart!! Now if I go back in my photo album I seem to have captured a different “Mom” with glass in hand, Christmas hat on and Christmas Cracker in the other embraced by Jack & Betty, surrounded by the many Evans & Rose kids. After Bill died it brought us even closer to the point I felt I had 2 Moms, 2 more “Big brothers, and something none of the Rose boys had before……a pretty Sister!! Sorry Tim & Mike; she’s still my Sister. In the latter months of Peg’s life we had numerous “memorable” visits. Boy did she love her barbequed ribs!! Such incredible recall, humor and patience she had though obviously being overcome with discomfort.I will very much miss this exceptional “sexy Senior Citizen”. With the fondest of memories, from the bottom of my heart; I will miss you. Love David
