Dear Fred and all the Omura family –
It’s so hard to know what to say at a time like this, other than that I’m so sorry for your loss. I have never read such a beautiful, heartfelt obituary. Ava must have been an incredible person to be so deeply loved by all who knew her.
With deepest sympathy,
Barb

To all of Ava’s Family & Friends:
Ava was such a Sweetheart, and I regret not seeing her again before her passing. She was always so humble, with an awesome sense of humor, and I’m glad I had the opportunity to get to know her better during our early Info Tech days. I thought it was humorous how she said “I can’t be seen without my make up!” Then she proceeded to tell me the story about the time that she did not have her make-up on, and some people did not recognize her without it. The way she told the story was very humorous. She was a wise person, and had the attitude of a student ~ always more to find out & learn, while still being a teacher and role model for others at the same time. Her spirit will live on in our hearts, especially in those closest to her. Sincerest sympathies to Gina, Fred, Dakota, and Logan.
Fred, Dakota, Logan and all of Ava’s family and friends,

Fred, Dakota, Logan and family,
We were deeply saddened to hear the news of Ava’s passing. I was very fortunate and blessed to have had Ava as my supervisor when I worked at Bodythings. She was the best you could ever ask for and just as sweet. I looked up to her with the upmost respect and cannot say enough about her. I was pleasantly surprised to see her again and meet her husband as well as boys when my husband coached Dakota’s hockey team a couple of years ago. She had not changed a bit.
Ava, may you rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with Fred, Dakota, Logan, and family.
With our sincere sympathies,
Lance, Lisa, Stephen, and Scott Moore

Love,
Peter, Rhonda, Lee, and Adam
To Ava’s family and friends…
I was very involved in IBM’s Employees’ Charitable Fund campaign and had the pleasure to work alongside Ava during the planning and execution of events that raised significant funding for the charities we supported. I know, first hand, how selfless Ava was in helping those less fortunate than herself.
Indeed, all of Ava’s wonderful attributes that have been captured in the announcment of her passing encapsulate just who this wonderful woman was. She will be remembered by us all…and my deepest sympathy go out to her family and dear friends who will miss her so much more than those of us who only got a glimpse into into the heart of this beautiful soul.
Dear Fred, Logan and Dakota,
Our thoughts and prayers go out to you during this time. Ava was sweet and caring and we will miss her.
Love, Lori and Brian, Jessica and Pedro

Deepest sympathy to you and your family.
My condolences to Ava’s family. My heart goes out to Ava’s husband and two sons. Ava was my manager over the last year and half, looking back it brings a smile to my face knowing that during our work meeting a majority of our time was spent discussing families and kids. Ava spoke so highly of her family, and you can tell she was a well balance individual who had her priorities set correctly. Ava you will be truly missed.
It was a pleasure to have known and worked with Ava. My best wishes are with her family.
Fred, Dakota and Logan,
My deepest sympathies on the loss of your wife and dear mother. I worked with Ava at IBM for more that 9 years. She was a great colleague and friend. Her quick smile and friendly attitude were just two of her many strengths. As it says in her announcement she will be missed by all who knew her. you are in my thoughts and prays at this difficult time.
