Condolences
Fond childhood memories of touring through the insides of a piano with Gordon in his shop. I am sorry to hear of his passing.
Doris and family..Gordon was such a great conversationalist with a sense of humour. He was our favorite neighbor when we lived in Windsor Park. He certainly did lead a long and productive life. My sincere condolences.
Although my mother never knew Gordon, she has the understanding there were only two people born in mountain park Alta. — my mother being the other. Her mother may have been taught piano by Gordon’s father. My mom’s brother, Harvey Wheatcroft (who passed away many years ago) was also a well-known piano tuner. My mom is almost 93 yrs. Of age and is doing relatively well. We send our condolences. If indeed there were only two people born in that mining town, they have certainly lived long and healthy lives! It’s too bad mom and Gordon never met. I’m sure they would have had lots to talk about.
My condolences to the family of a friend from many years ago. I have many memories of both Gordon and his father tuning pianos in my parents amd my homes in Stettler and Calgary. I was the daughter, Judy, of Dr.L.H.Wright, a dentist in Stettler for some years.

To the family of Gordon Fishwick- Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Gordon. He was a customer of mine and my family for three generations. My family and I operated one of Calgary’s oldest moving companies and Gordon was a loyal customer. I used to enjoy visiting with Gordon and Ralph at their shop while there moving pianos for their customers. Gordon’s reputation as an expert in the piano business was renowned throughout the industry.
He was a wonderful person and a true professional.

To Gordon’s friends and family I extend my sympathy. I only knew Gordon briefly while I was a student working in the hospital yet he made a big impression on me. Of all the patients I cared for my favorite was Gordon, sometimes grumpy but always delightful. He was quite a character and I am sure he will be missed.
I am very sad to hear about Gord’s passing.I just moved to Calif.this past Aug. and saw and visited him right before. As usual was in great spirits and planning to possibly move back home!?
We had lots of great conversations and times together, we all lost a true human being, who had warmth, humor and lots of interests in the world.
I want to express my condolences and will keep his memory in my hart!! Janos Horvath
