Condolences
Even though 3 years have passed I am hoping that the family will receive this message – I have only found out about Therese’s passing and so shocked and saddened at this news I cannot believe that gorgeous person is no longer with us…my friend Jenny Sutcliffe (Latham) and I lived and worked with Therese in New Zealand back in 1979, we had an amazing time together. Therese then came to Australia and we had fun again…then many years later she came with her mother Alice and maybe once again when she was working with Air Canada..to Alice and family our love goes out to you and I am truly sorry for your loss…it makes me very sad that we did not know.. a special lady who we will always have wonderful memories of xxx
Marc, Denis. I was saddened to read of Therese’s passing. I do remember her beauty and captivating spirit those times that our paths crossed at your place Marc. I send my condolences to the entire Ranks family.
Alice and family,
I offer you my sincere sympathies on the death of Therese (my little “shirt-tailed” cousin)…we’d always talk about the relatives, when we’d meet on numerous flights…….first met her on the B767 at YXE….while taking a picture of the flight crew…..and she wanted a copy of the picture. It was a blessing to know her. She is in my prayers…that she be at rest. And prayers for you too Alice: for courage and strength.
Love, Peter
Alice, Michelle, Marc, Denis, Carole and families – I am so sorry to hear of Therese’s passing. She was full of life, completely engaging, kind, beautiful. I am so glad to have known her, and remember her so fondly. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Sandy Jakab

I am feeling sad about Therese’s passing and offer my love and empathy to the Ranks family. I still remember meeting Theresa in the Len Werry Building when she was working with AGT many years ago and being impressed with her innate ability to connect with many people.
All my best to everyone in this difficult time. My memories are of fondness when I think of Theresa.

We were so sorry to hear of you daughter’s passing Alice, although we had never met her. I lost my oldest son in 1987 so I know what it is like to lose a child. Our thoughts & prayers are with you & your family at this very sad time.
Love Barb& Jim Allen.
At this time one prays for stillness as the veil is shear as you journey to your new home Therese.
I loved working with you dear friend.
To your family I share deep grief and heartfelt sadness. May your God be with you.
Love n’ prayers forever,

Deeply saddened to learn of Therese’s passing.
I have fond memories of Therese’s bright personality on the aircraft and her ability to see humour in almost every situation. She was so friendly with everyone and brightened many a long flight with her wit and comical spin on everything. Therese always remembered the details of everyone’s lives and took a sincere interest in how others were doing.
Looking past her struggles in life, she really was a sweet person, whom I was always pleased to work with.
My thoughts and prayers will be with all the family on Friday, as she is laid to rest.
Dear Alice and Family

On behalf of myself and my family we wish to extend our deepest condolences to the Ranks family. I have very fond memories of Theresa over the last 40 years, from Junior High School dances to enjoying her kind friendly nature while flying. Rest in peace Theresa.
First of all, my most heartfelt condolences to you all. I had the pleasure of flying with Therese on many occasions, while she was based in Vancouver.
She was one of most fun and genuine people I have ever met in my life. I think of her often. It saddens me that I did not stay more in touch with her since she moved back to Calgary.
I will continue to think of her, she brings a smile to my face , now and for always,
So sorry for your loss. All the Wearmouth sibs have happy memories of Therese and the entire the Ranks family. Take care.

I am so sorry to hear of Therese’s passing. She was so kind to open her door and her heart to me 32 years ago when we started flying together. She was inclusive, generous, funny, loved to celebrate anything and everything and she will be missed very much by all those whose life she touched.
A life too short lived but lived large. Rest in Peace Therese. Love Cheri

Therese will be truly missed by all who knew her. I was fortunate enough to spend numerous flights and overnights with her, my first golf game ever in Yellowknife with Therese and Ginger and the wonderful ski trip at Big White where Mark and Judy first met. I will always remember her great smile, beautiful long hair, her zest for life, her great sense of humour and most of all her story telling. Love that girl and will truly miss her. I am sorry that we lost touch with each over the years.
My prayers are with you all in your time of sorrow.

To Aunty Alice, Michelle, Marc (Judi), Dennis and Carol Colborne(Blake)and all of the nieces and nephews:
We are very shocked and saddened to hear of Theresa’s passing. As one of the Laplante clan cousins I have many fond memories of family reunions in Vimy or Moose lake where all the cousins(and there were many)would congregate.
My memories of Theresa are of a beautiful and happy cousin who was full of life, loved to travel, and who’s radiant smile would fill a room.
We feel very far away at times like these, however, we wanted you all to know that you are in our thoughts & prayers during this difficult time.
Please accept my deepest condolences. I had the pleasure of travelling on 3 occasions with Therese. She was like a shepherd to me as I didn’t have much travelling experience when I was in my early 20’s but Therese did. The year Mt. St. Helen’s volcano blew I drove to Coeur d’Alene while Therese navigated. Later I went to Las Vegas with her and Cathy. The longest trip was a 2 week vacation to California. Theresa knew where to stay, what to do, how to budget our money. She was, a shepherd and a very caring friend and I have great memories of those trips with her.
Therese was a ‘one of a kind special friend’ and a significant part of my life…I will always remember her through wonderful memories. May you all be blessed with strength, peace, and love.
My condolences to friends colleagues and family..I worked with Therese for many years as a customer service agent in ycg yyc and yvr…she was full of life and always a laugh to be had…Therese and her colleagues would know me by BR…she will be missed
My deepest sympathy to all of you during this sad time. Therese was a special person and friend. I have fond memories of skiing and our trips to Gull Lake. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
I am so sad to hear of Theresa’s passing. She always brought a smile to my face every time I saw her. She was always very kind and thoughtful. Please accept my deepest condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
