Obituary of Therese Marie RANKS

February 28, 1958 – February 10, 2012 The Ranks family sadly announces the passing of Therese on Friday, February 10, 2012. Therese graduated from St. Francis High School, Calgary and earned a B Sc Physical Education degree from the U of C. Therese was employed by Canadian/Air Canada airlines for 25 years where she did what she loved, helping people and travelling the world. We were blessed to have her as part of our family, mother Alice, father Del (deceased 1973), siblings Michelle, Marc (Judi), Dennis and Carol Colborne (Blake); her nieces and nephews Denis, Paul, Alison and Nicolette Lambert, their father Martin, Lindsey, Scott and Jillian Ranks. She will be missed greatly by Vete Dorchak. Memorial Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, February 17 at 3:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at the Kensington Legion (1910 Kensington Road N.W.) In lieu of flowers, Therese’s family requests donations be made to the Society for the Treatment of Autism, 404 94 Ave SW, Calgary, AB, T2J 0E8.
