To Gerry and the family,
My sincere condolences and prayers to you at the loss of Carlo. You must know we were neighbors when we were children, and the Manzaras and Seranis were neighbors forever. Carlo was the first boy I admired and looked up to, after all I was four then. I will always remember the young boy who grew up to be the gentle man, who married the beautiful Gerry and lived happily ever after. I am so sorry for your loss.
Sincerely, Palma Barbaro Seeger

I just heard a few minutes ago of Carlo’s “passing” from my brother-in-law Joe. I am very sorry and offer you my most sincere condolences and will be praying for the Manzara family.
Gerry and Arnold I Especially want you to know how sorry I am. I remember with fondness the few times in the last 12 years that I was able to visit with you.
The first time was our reunion at your home Gerry when I met the Manzara brothers for the first time since High School. In particular I remember Your Hospitality Gerry and your sending me your family recipe for Stracchi-thankyou again.
I am sorry that I will not be able to see and talk with you at the funeral but be assured that my thoughts and prayers will be with you. I will be offering up Mass for both Carlo and Joe as I missed Joe’s “Passing” entirely.
Please send me your address as I would like to send you a card.
Al
PS My thoughts are roaming through the first 15 years of our lives as Joe Arnold Carlo and a few other school mates grew up very much together.

I taught with Carlo at Bishop Grandin and remember his professionalism and keen sense of humour. He had a beautiful voice – a wonderful asset in the Play “You Two Come Here, the Rest Come with Me”. Very sad to hear. Blessings to your family.
