Condolences
I am very saddened to hear of your loss.I knew Bill and Mary for many years and arranged their holidays and it was a pleasure to deal with them as they were always making jokes and so happy.I will deeply miss his visits to the office.
Please accept our condolences in the loss of your father and our good friend. We new him on a social basis and we had no idea that he had dedicated so much time and effort to helping others. He was a very fine man and we will miss his friendship.
Susan and Family, my condolences on the loss of your father. He and I shared time in fitness at the Glencoe and in the cafeteria later, where we debated the frustrations with how our Calgary Flames frequently stumbled, but we were loyal and concerned fans regardless. I will miss his observations and sense of humour.
I was saddened yesterday when I read the obituary in the Herald that Bill had passed away. I met Bill in 1977 when I sold him and Mary computers after starting my computer consulting business. He was my first customer. We became friends as his computer guru. I will miss him, his humor and his positive outlook on life. My condolences to his family, relatives and friends.
I am so sorry for your loss. I am honoured to have known Bill and grateful for the opportunity he gave me by bringing me into the Calgary Family Services community. He was a genuinely warm and caring individual and a real inspiration to me. He will be deeply missed and always remembered.
We send our love and our prayers and to tell you what an honor and pleasure it was to know Bill. His wonderful sense of humor gave laughter to many and he will always be “The King of Bow River Cruises”. May Bill and God have a joyous sailing!
With love from, Bob and Joanne
Dear Susan,
Yesterday I was saddened to read Bill’s obituary in the Calgary Herald. He was a delightful man and I thoroughly enjoyed his friendship. Bill contributed so much to everyone he met and was an outstanding member of the Calgary community. He was an inspiration to all of us.
Sorry that I will not be able to attend the funeral tomorrow to pay my respects to Bill’s memory. I am in central Mexico and will not be returning to Calgary until April.
Sincerely,
Barbara Robison
Dear John & Susan,
Please accept my deepest sympathy on the passing of your wonderful Dad. He was a lovely man & he & my Dad became friends when both my Mum & your step-mum Mary were in Chinook. Take care of yourselves.
Your old neighbour from 48th Ave.

Susan and John,
We are sorry to hear the news about your Dad. It is amazing that he was chairing a major committee effort just last year! Our thoughts are with you. Sarah and Corey Pattee
I am so sorry to hear of Mr. McIntyre’s passing. I worked for him at the Bay. He was a man with a love of life and people. He had great patience and an undying sense of humor both of which he often needed as, because of his skill in merchandising, he was often assigned us newbies who really knew nothing of what we were doing. He is a very fond memory for me.
John and Rhonda,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts are with you both.
Janice and Gervais
We are very sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. We kept in touch through Christmas cards each year and really enjoyed having coffee with Bill from time to time. His smile, his warmth and his stories will be sadly missed.
