Condolences
I am honored to have met your Mom and Grandmother, even if for a very short time at Lake Bonavista Village. I have to admit she was one of my favorite people to see – you don’t have to know her well to be touched by her kind heart, her encouraging words, and her sweet smile. Our last conversation about life and gratitude and relationships was very special to me and I will treasure it. I will be sure to look for her wonderfully smelling cinnamon “room scent” at Pier 1 Imports and I will think of her when I enjoy it. I hope your memories of your wonderful Mom and Grandmother will give you comfort and peace through this difficult time. She loved you all very very much…
Our thoughts have been with you since learning of your mom’s passing. My mom, Margaret Gilmour, and Bert were good friends at Bonavista Village. Brian and I got to know her through my mom and thought of her as as a kind and lovely person and a good friend to mom. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy at this time of loss.
Sue, Jerry and David,
So sorry to hear of your mom’s passing~~I remember her well from Roseview Drive. She was always so kind to me when I would pop over to visit. I know my Mom had many great times curling with Winnie Morgan, Kay Eloschuk and your mom. I was glad to visit with Sue and your mom for two lunches in the past couple of years, and my mom really enjoyed connecting again with your mom.
My condolences to all of you.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Bert. She was a lovely person I got to know thru my association with husband Al. Met Bert and family on a number of occassions and found her a wonderful lady.. My sincere regrets to all the lovely Rollins family…
We had a long and wonderful association with Al and Bert…in hockey, work and friendship during our years in Calgary. Bert was one of the nicest people you would ever want to meet and we considered her a very good friend. We are deeply saddened by the passing of your mother/grandmother. Our deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers are with Sue, Jerry, David and your families.
Just want to express my deepest sympathies on the passing of your Mother/Grandmother. I got to know her quite well when she lived in Spokane. She was a lady of character and dignity and I had the utmost respect for her. Again, my deepest sympathies to all of you during this difficult time.
