You don’t know me, however I met Gibby through my Aunt, Wynnie Riley. Aunt Wyn lived in Black Diamond at the same time and their friendship continued for many years. I had the privilege of meeting Gibby and you were truly blessed to have such an amazing Mother. Perhaps they will meet again …

I am mourning the loss of a true friend who could brighten any day with her charm and quick humour. I will particularly think of some of those special moments and stories she would tell. As I will be on vacation in Cuba, I will be unable to attend services but I will remember the time and reflect on Gibby and all the family and friends enriched by her long life.
