Condolences
We didn’t learn of Rod’s passing till this week-end, having been out of the country a while. We can’t imagine the devastation you feel, our hearts aching since we heard. How we’d have loved to continue encounters in the neighborhood and enjoyed his congeniality so much longer. We pray for you Jane, and children and grandchildren for God’s strength and comfort.
Sincerely,
Ron & Joan Hendrickson & family esp. Kara
Dear Jane, Lukus and family,
We were very saddened to hear of your loss. We have fond memories of Rod’s big smile when he greeted us at the rink and his words of encouragement for Lukus and his team mates.

My Dearest Jane & family,
Please accept my heartfelt sadness, & shock in the sudden passing of Rod.
On reflection, my fondest memories of Rod & yourself Jane, were the fun gourmet dinners that we shared way back in the eighties. May you Dear Jane, & all of your family be given the strength & the time to grieve through this very difficult time.
My prayers are with you with an abundance of love & blessings. Val Wedekind Gold.
When Dad informed me of Mr. MacKenzie’s passing, I immediately recalled many fond memories of growing up next door to “The MacKenzies” in Silver Springs. It seems like yesterday, not 30+ years ago. My deepest sympathies to the MacKenzie family.
Brian and Lori Kmet

Jane, Scott, & Erin:
I was so sorry to hear of Rod’s passing. Although we had not connected in several years I will remember fondly our times together in Scottsdale and the work we did together on the Alberta Tennis committee. Rod had an energy that was hard to duplicate and I am saddened by his loss.
Jane I hope that you will find consolation in the family and life that you grew together and that you will cherish the memories that you had.
God bless.
Steve Corbett
It was with great sadness that we heard the passing of Rod. While we only got to know Rod over the last few years, he always took the time to talk to us and find out how we were doing. His face will be missed around the rinks.

Jane and family
I wish I was there in person to express my condolence for your loss.
However, difficult as this time may be, I remember the good and fun parts> from Rod and my “rusty nail” start to our 1974 European vacation thru our motor homing adventures and misadventures (pancake flattening included)
May there bits and many more overshadow our collective sadness. Take care. God bless.
Jane, Scott and Erin. Jeff is in australia at the open, so I’ll be sure to make him aware of Rod’s passing. Jeff always really liked Rod. I’m so very sorry to read about Rod this morning. You just never know, life can be so cruel. They say the only thing that heals is time, and I’m not sure that’s always true. I always enjoyed having a laugh with Rod and all the chicken wing guys at the tennis club. How I miss those times. Jane ands kids please accept our very deepest sympathies and GOD Bless.
Moe Watson, Jeff and family.
