Reaching out to you Tim with our thoughts and prayers to share your grief.
We have fond memories of our great times together with Ruth and her amazing culinary and entertaining abilities shared in Ottawa during our post university days.

Tim, Allison and Courtney,
Words cannot express how saddened we are with the news of Ruth's passing. She was a very special person and always brought laughter and charm into every situation. In our early years, the "gang" (featured in our uploaded pictures) spent numerous New Year's Eve parties together laughing over gifts we received from under the tree. We have many terrific memories of spending time with Ruth on our sailboat, at various cottages, in Calgary and even here in Florida. In particular, Ruth was very fond of our watermelon vodka drink and she told that story on many occasions. Ruth was the godmother to Megan, our first born, as we are also blessed to be Allison's godparents. Ruth had a kind, loving soul and loved being a Mom and Grandmother. She was always a sincere and beautiful friend and we will miss her deeply. We wish we could be there to support all of you now but be sure that you are in our thoughts and prayers. With deepest sadness and love,
Ann & Jim Bertrand
