Condolences
I am a "BLAST from the PAST" and just learned of Kevin's passing! How sad this is and to see that his "one year death anniversary" is fast approaching. The last time I saw Kevin, was just after his hockey injury and my heart ached for him and his family! I was friends with Kevin's Mom (Joyce) and worked with his Dad (Paul) but sadly our lives got in the way and we went different directions. But I often thought about Kevin especially when my own daughter (Misty) had a massive stroke in 1998 (she was 22). She lived, but not without being badly crippled down the left side. So Kevin, it was good to hear that you made the best of your life with this permanent injury - as long as you could. It sounds like, by the obituary, you were very much like your MOM. I only wished we would have stayed in touch. I wish to send you some HUGS IN HEAVEN and sincere belated condolences to your Mom and Dad. Life, on earth, is not easy! I am hoping that Heaven will give us all endless happiness and that we all meet again - it won't be long, save me a front row seat! My memories are from our early years in Haysboro from elementary school days! Kevin's buddies including Ronnie, Brian, Mike, Mark, and Udo along with many others hung out and had great memories growing up through high school. New Year's parties at Joyce and Paul's became an annual event! Many epic get togethers with laughs.. Kevin was much more than a great friend. He impacted everyone he was engaged with. Words cannot begin to tell his story, but the memories I have will keep a smile on my face when I think of him. I miss him and am saddened there will be no new memories, but mine will live with me for the rest of my life! My deepest sympathy to all his family, especially Joyce & Paul, and hope your grief is lessened with your knowledge of how Kevin lived his life to its fullest! He accomplished so much, was so loved, and will be remembered so fondly! Condolences.
I remember driving Kevin around Calgary in 1987 and 1988 as a part time driver for Calgary Handi Bus Association. He was always bright and cheerful and I was happy to see how much he succeeded in his life. I am very saddened to hear of his passing and our sincere condolences to all of his family and friends at this most difficult time, especially his mom and dad whom we had the pleasure of meeting at the Olive Grove Lounge in Midnapore on a few Friday and Saturday nights back in the late 80's and early 90's. They kept me us updated on Kevin's success in university. May the pain and heartache being suffered by all of those close to Kevin subside soon into warm feelings and fond memories of the good times you all shared together. He will always be remembered!

So sorry for your loss. Such a vibrant individual who was a great role model. May he be freed from the physical challenges on this earth and soar free in Heaven. My sincere condolences to the families.
Paul and Joyce and family - we are so sorry to hear of Kevin's passing. Wishing you comfort and peace during this difficult time. May the memories of Kevin live on in your hearts.
An absolutely remarkable young man has left us. It indeed is a sad day to think that an exception life, and how Kevin handled his many challenges, has ended. He will be missed by all those he associated with. He was an inspiration to all who knew him. He achieved extraordinary success - especially given his limitations. He turned those limitations into stories of success and abundance. We pay tribute to Kevin, one exceptional person. We only wish that we had been able to spend more time with him.
Our sincerest condolences.
