My deepest condolences to everyone who knew and loved Kevin, a man who was truly one of kind. Kevin was one of my best friends and I know he has many people in his world who would say the same. No matter where I was in the world, or how much time may have passed between visits, Kevin was there for me - to laugh and dance and play and share the challenges we faced growing up and living life. He was compassionate like no other and he wouldn't pull punches. Kevin was brilliant, engaging, caring, funny as hell and he forgave all my foibles, or at the very least, he tolerated them without judgement. When I was lost, Kevin was my compass to help me find my way. I loved Kevin deeply and like no other. I can't begin to find the words to express how much he meant to me or the massive gap he has left in my heart. He was loved fiercely by his family and friends and he loved his family and friends in a way that made each of us feel seen, heard and valued. The world won't be the same without you and I am forever grateful for having shared this journey with you. I love you.
