Tony, Nicholas, Michael and family,
From our family to yours, we extend our sympathy and love as you say goodbye to our beautiful Laurie today. We shared so many memories together, from Stampede parties, to early morning parades, pregnancies, raising children, potlucks, sponge painting, gardening, dancing on the beach with mariachis, camping, Halloween costumes, skiing at C.O.P., cocktails around the campifire, skating on backyard ice rinks, and generally just showing up for coffee and a good laugh. How grateful we are to have met Laurie and to have known her in our lifetime. In our hearts forever.
With love,
Richard, Louise, Kalena and Amelia Mackiewicz

I am so sorry for your loss. Laurie was a beautiful soul inside and out. I didn’t know Laurie well but whenever I met her she lit up the room with her beautiful smile and positive energy. I will always remember her for that energy, strength and kindness.
My deep and sincere condolences to Laurie's family. I only met her a few times, introduced to her by my brother, yet she left a lasting impression that I will never forget. Grateful that she was able to make an impact on my life. A loving, positive, and enthusiastic soul with such a passion for life and desire to help others. May she rest in peace.
Tony, Michael and Nicholas,
Laurie was the most sunny person I ever met. She was so positive, so affirming and so full of joy. We all felt better when Laurie walked into a room…her spirit was infectious and we have all been uplifted by her. I remember her at CSC…those kids loved her…they were attracted to her spirit and she always saw the best in them. What a gift and what a light. The world is a better place because she graced it. I remember, and I am sure I am spelling this wrong, her ‘gazpachos’, gifts of beauty to her friends at the lake. Even the eagles responded to her presence and recognized her by flying over her when she meditated. Our strange little pooches loved Laurie and Paco, LouLou, Casper and Dobbie liked nothing better than to cuddle up to her. Frank and I will miss her gentle presence and have so many memories that keep her close. Good bye, golden girl! Thank you!

What a journey Laurie took over the past many years. I’ve not known another who embraced the path ahead like Laurie did once faced with a scary diagnosis. She and you have been remarkable facing adversity with hope, belief, optimism, and strength. The way you & Laurie opened yourselves to support and shared your needs and your downs was unique. You helped me feel more able to connect and I see that as a gift from you & Laurie. I wish the best for you as you begin stepping forward. May the years ahead hold much new happiness for the three of you.

Rest in peace Laurie Temprile You walked this earth with grace and softness. Honoring your gentle spirit with this memory of your Limpia Flowerbath ceremonies you would hold at the Sangha Festivals we used to put on. I remember fondly the last one where the Flowerbath tipped over somehow on it's own and poured onto the earth just moments before the festival began. A mystery how a giant bin of water could magically 'tip' over with no one around. It took you a whole week to prepare! Your intial shock subsided quickly as you came to the understanding that the earth was ready to receive her healing first before us holding our festival for the healing of all. It was a gift to the land that would hold us all so dearly for our time together ahead. This ceremony was specifically playful and beautiful. I will hold your loving kind hearted and warm spirit dearly and think of you often in floral waters. Blow my wishes and prayers into the petals of roses and remember the sweet essence of your nurturing heart. Love for you always~
My sincere condolences to Tony and all of the family.

Dear Tony, Nicholas and Michael, we were so saddened to hear about Laurie's passing. Losing the matriarch of any family is one of the hardest things in life but the key is to take what was taught and learned and instill them in your personal lives. She will be missed immensely and we share in your sorrow; but we will keep her memory alive in the memories we have of her.
God bless and give you strength.

Heartfelt condolences to the family from a neighbor whose children loved looking at Laurie's lovely garden decorations.
I am so saddened to learn of Laurie's passing. Over the years it has been such a pleasure to see Laurie, often with Tony, on our pathways as they enjoyed the park and views of the mountains. Laurie was inspirational in her approach to her cancer journey and healing choices. I am so sorry I cannot attend the celebration of life but will think of Laurie every time I pass your backyard and all its magical, mythical decorations.
We are sending our heartfelt sympathy to each of you. Greg and I had the privilege of getting to know Laurie at “Lakeshore Resort”. Laurie made a very meaningful impact on us. We will truly miss our chats about life, challenges, strength and perspective. Laurie leaves a beautiful part of herself with each of us.
Sending our love to you,
Kate and Greg Buehler
We send our deepest sympathy for your very great loss. We remember Laurie for the light and joy and laughter she passed on to those around her. We loved her visits to the farm in Saskatchewan and would always see the world through her eyes of positivity. We are grateful for knowing and enjoying her in our lives.
With love and caring from the Lysak family
